Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: 10 Amazing Cosplays You Have To Try

Demon Slayer is one of the most popular series right now. It’s a great series with amazing characters, so it’s not surprise why it’s been on the top for a while. It also helps that Demon Slayer ticks all the right boxes for a successful Anime/manga story, according to this study (Ikhtiari, Savitri Khairunnisa, and Isti Siti Saleha Gandana.

And what’s even better is that the character design are beautiful, which translate well into cosplay. If you’re looking to cosplay from Demon Slayer, look no further than this post.

1. Zenitsu Agatsuma

Zenitsu Agatsuma’s Thunder Breathing is unique to his understanding of the technique and he even developed two extensions of the first form, “Eight Fold” and “God Speed,” to attack faster. His technique requires him to lean into his pose and envelope himself in lightning, ready to extend his sword. Islen captures the first steps of the beginning stance and lightning build-up through the editing for their cosplay.

2. Poisonous | Poison Butterfly

The butterfly motif her clothing has is perfect on several levels, first being that she’s the insect Hashira and second, that free-roaming nature of the bug fits in with the personality she often exudes to others. That almost whimsical and fun persona is shown beautifully here by Summer. You can see she’s someone who roams the world on a whim, never letting the atrocities within it get her down. She’s that beacon of light in the dark.

3. Giyu Tomioka

The Demon Slayer known as Giyu Tomioka has a few distinctions. He is the first slayer that Tanjiro ever came across, and it was his presence that inspired Tanjiro to become one himself. Not only that, but he stands as the water user among the nine Hashira, making him a top-of-the-line warrior.

4. Spider Demon Mom

Even demons can have a semblance of a family if they really try, and the deadly spider demons of the forest have assembled into a rather dysfunctional family unit. One of the lower demons, a spider boy named Rui, is in fact one of the elite Moons demons.

5. Tanjiro

It isn’t Demon Slayer cosplay without the hero himself! Tanjiro has a rather distinctive appearance even among all these colorful characters, such as his green and black checkered robe, solid black sword, slicked back red hair, and of course, his forehead burn scar.

6. Nezuko

She is the little sister of Tanjiro and actually a demon. While you’d think that would make her a villain, the story is far more complicated than that. Nezuko notably holds a muzzle in her mouth, making her a very recognizable character in cosplay. So if you decide to cosplay her, pretty much everyone will know who you are! You can go for her original form with the muzzle, or be more original with her demon form.

7. Mitsuri Kanroji

The Love Hashira. Mitsuri Kanroji is one of the most powerful and skilled swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps. Her sword is made from a malleable metal that only she can properly wield

8. Muzan Kibutsuji

Muzan is the main villain in demon slayer series. He’s the demon king and the curser of all demons that exist in the demon slayer. He’s not an ordinary villain honestly. He’s very powerful. He’s a pale-skinned man with curly black hair, he kind of resembles Michael Jackson as well!

9. Inosuke Hashibira

This Demon Slayer never hesitates to run into battle whenever he senses a demon nearby. Although it takes a lot of bravery to slay demons, he acts on impulse and recklessness, which gets him into trouble. However, he always manages to survive with the help of his friends.

10. Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu has a fun and easy-going personality. She loves to pick on people, especially Giyuu because of his inability to defend himself against her verbal attacks. Much like the other demon slayers mentioned her, her fun personality fades into the background when she’s fighting demons.
